Peter Dawson was first admitted as a Barrister in 1968, and as a Solicitor in 1970. In 1972 he opened his own firm, “Peter Dawson & Co” at Blacktown and by 1974 that firm also operated branch offices at Burwood and Katoomba. From 1977 Peter again practised as a Barrister, specialising in criminal and family law, and he served two terms as an Acting Crown Prosecutor before returning to practice as a Solicitor in 1998.
Teena is a Licensed Conveyancer and is in charge of the Mt Druitt office. Her helpful manner and extroverted personality endear her to our clients and she is an essential part of the team at Peter Dawson & Associates.
During her 19 years at the Mt Druitt office Teena has conducted an extensive range of property transactions including large strata and community developments and subdivisions. She is also accomplished in Wills and Estate matters, including Family Provision claims, and in Family Law disputes.
Teena enjoys an outstanding reputation with local Real Estate Agents, Financial Institutions and Mortgage Brokers. She is renowned and respected by her many clients and by her peers for her attention to detail and her professional skills.
Peter is qualified to practice both in Australia and in the U.K. He brings to Peter Dawson & Associates his extensive experience in Wills and Estates, and his attention to detail has brought excellent results in Family Provision matters. Toni is a long term resident of the Hills area. Her early career as a Lending Manager with a retail bank has provided her with great communication and management skills. A member of our team since 2011, she brings to Peter Dawson & Associates many years of experience in front line customer service.
Toni is a Licensed Conveyancer and is able to assist her clients with:-
- Drafting and reviewing Contracts for Sale

Debbie has joined us from the Public Defenders Office, where she assisted in serious and high profile criminal trials and sentencing matters in the District and Supreme Courts and the Court of Criminal Appeal.
Debbie’s academic qualifications include the degree of Master of Laws (Applied Law), an Advanced Diploma of Conveyancing, a Diploma of Law and a Diploma of Business (Legal Services). She has great advocacy, communication and administration skills and is an experienced researcher and presenter.

Allison holds degrees in both Law and Science from Macquarie University, where she served as Registrar and Captain of the Water Polo Club. Her other interests include Taekwondo, Scuba Diving and Wakeboarding, and she has travelled to outback Australia, Fiji and Kenya to work with disadvantaged communities.
Following a successful career in retail Allison has brought to the practice excellent problem solving skills, a high level of motivation and unlimited enthusiasm. She intends to continue developing her knowledge both academically and practically and we have no doubt that she will in due course achieve specialist accreditation.
